CPSJ - control unit for TJ100 turbine

The CPSJ control unit is an electronic device intended for control of TJ100 turbine (manufactured by PBS Velká Bíteš a.s., Czech Republic). The CPSJ control unit also ensures +28 V DC power supply for other onboard devices.

Main functions of the CPSJ control unit are the following:

• regulation of turbine rational speed to desirable value (0 to 60000 rpm)
• turbine start and stop regulation
• onboard electric supply
• turbine operational parameters monitoring and checking

The CPSJ control unit can be controlled through a serial communication bus CAN 2.0 (Controller Area Network) with higher layer protocol (HLP) CANaerospace. or by the means of control voltage 0-10 V.

Serial communication bus CAN serves, besides the controlling of CPSJ unit, also for operational parameters monitoring and modification of selected parameters by the means of superior control system (PC).

The CPSJ control unit performs monitoring and checking of the following operational parameters:

• over-rotational speed
• under-rotational speed
• minimum rotational speed
• exhaustion gas temperature
• loss of oil pressure
• sensing rotational speed signal presence
• centrifuge rotation
• fuel and oil pump run checking
• power electronic temperature
• HW error
