Certificates

Quality of our products and services is, together with satisfaction of our employees, one of the main goals of UNIS, Mechatronic systems department. We know that we can reach this goal only by permanent and high quality of every employee work in all phases of the contract process.

We proclaim, in accordance with company strategy, quality assurance policy that is focused on:

 

 

Development Organisation Approval UNIS company has completed certification by the Civil Aviation Authority for development (DOA) in accordance with the CAA-TI-026-1/01 standard and §17 Act no. 49/1997 Coll., on civil aviation, which we obtained as one of the first company in Czech Republic.


Aircraft parts and appliances production approval UNIS obtained certification in accordance with regulation JAR 21 for aircraft parts and appliances production in 2003. As a result of integration Czech Republic into EU was company transformed in accordance with Europe directives and UNIS got a new certificate (EASA POA). UNIS obtained certificate in accordance with Act No. 1702/2003, Part 21, Section A, Subpart G.


ISO 9001:2000 certificate The high standards of the UNIS quality management system was approved by regular recertification in 1998 and 2001. The QMS was found fully satisfactory, covering new activities in the fields of design, development, production and mechatronic systems service. In December 2002 we were successfully recertified in accordance with the ISO 9001:2000 standard. In November 2005 UNIS was successfully recertified again so we obtained new certificate for next three years.


TickIT ISO 9001 certificate Awareness of the necessity to establish a quality management system in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard resulted in the early receipt of quality certification in 1995 including the TickIT - scheme for software development. UNIS is the first East European company with a TickIT - scheme for software development!

KOM Actuation 2015

In Versailles, France an initial „Kick-off meeting“ of the integrated project FP7-AAT-2011-RTD-1 no. 284915 „Actuation 2015 – Modular Electro Mechanical Actuators for ACARE 2020 Aircraft and Helicopters“ was held. The project is funded by European Commission and shall run from 2011 to 2014. UNIS is responsible for studies regarding anomaly detection in control electronics and actuators and development of optimal control algorithms and health monitoring systems (HUMS).
